East London's long-surviving gypsy-punk renegades deliver their ninth studio album.
A cross-cultural soundclash, propagated on the litter-strewn streets of Hackney, Hugh Poulton's strident lyrics portray a singular vison of socio-economic meltdown against a backdrop or rabble-rousing world rhythms.

| Walking Wounded are a 5 piece band from East London playing a wide variety of original material from Rock to Arabic, Reggae to Balkan, Celtic to Ska and more... They feature accordion, guitar, harmonica, bass, percussion and harmony vocals (with selected guest fiddle on their recordings). Despite their eclecticism the Wounded retain their distinctive sound that makes them instantly recognisable and the band rock with energy that many an electric band would envy. The band were one of the winners of the 2004 Glastonbury unsigned bands competition, Jazz/World section. | |||
